Sustaining the future of our school
The Heronfield experience is a gift – Our students understand the opportunity.
Philanthropy at Heronfield Academy is a cherished tradition. There are so many reasons to support Heronfield, and our students are at the heart of every one of them. Your philanthropy makes the Heronfield experience possible for every student. Every family, every gift makes a big difference. Thank you for joining our community and supporting our school.
Thank you for your interest in supporting our school. A donation to Heronfield helps sustain the future of our school. Even the smallest gift can have a lasting impact. Donations to the Heronfield Fund and participation in the Spring Fundraiser directly impact the student experience throughout the year. In order for our school to think toward the future in a strategic and impactful manner, we rely on gifts to the school’s capital campaigns and also on individual’s planned giving bequests.
The Heronfield Fund
The Heronfield Fund is our annual giving campaign, which raises money to support the daily operations of the school during the academic year. The Heronfield Fund is specifically designed to cover the difference between the total tuition revenue and actual operating expenses. Like most independent schools, tuition covers approximately 85% of the school’s operating costs. We turn to philanthropic donations to help bridge this gap.
Held in May, the annual Spring Fundraiser is a time for the adults in our community to come together and celebrate. Once held in the Multi-purpose Room, this event has blossomed into a large festive event. Some previous themes include: Cinco de Mayo, The Kentucky Derby, An Evening in Paris, and A Farewell to Our Head of School. This event features both a silent and live auction, raffles and spirited games. Parents, grandparents, special friends, alumni parents and faculty mingle and raise money to support the mission and programs of Heronfield Academy. This event is planned in a partnership with the parents and administrators of the school. And each year, we are so fortunate to receive generous support from our community sponsors. We are so grateful to be able to gather and celebrate this amazing school.
