Out students are seen, heard, known and valued.

The Heronfield Fund provides vital resources that sustain the hallmarks of a Heronfield education- from small classes and robust academic offerings to the exceptional faculty at the heart of our school

Every gift, at every level, helps us preserve what matters at Heronfield.

Gifts at Work

Gifts to the Heronfield Fund are put to work each year, supporting the people, programs, and experiences that make Heronfield distinct.

Last year, gifts to the Heronfield Fund helped make possible:

  • Expanded athletics with the addition of soccer and softball programs
  • Investment in our faculty through professional development, including attendance at the National Council for the Social Studies Annual Conference and the AISNE Women’s Leadership Symposium
  • Yoga and mindfulness programming expanded across the school community
  • Our first Community Day, bringing students and faculty together for a shared day of connection and experience
  • Improvements to our learning spaces, including HVAC installation in Studio 1
  • Care for our campus, including the removal of the barn to open and beautify the grounds

Annual Leadership Giving

Every gift to Heronfield matters. Together, contributions of all sizes sustain the close knit community that make Heronfield such a special place to learn and grow.

Annual leadership donors make a particularly significant investment in our work. Through their generosity, they help preserve what matters most about Heronfield while creating opportunities for the students who will follow.

We recognize annual leadership giving through three levels:

Field: $2,500–$4,999

Farmhouse: $5,000–$9,999

Flight: $10,000 and above

Heronfield celebrates its leadership donors through personal acknowledgment, opportunities to connect with school leadership, and meaningful updates about the impact of philanthropy on our students and school community.

Leadership recognition is based on qualifying contributions made or pledged during Heronfield’s fiscal year, July 1 through June 30.

The Founders Circle

Honoring a Lasting Commitment to Heronfield

Since its founding, Heronfield Academy has been shaped by the generosity of families, alumni, grandparents, and friends who believe deeply in the value of a Heronfield education.

The Founders Circle recognizes those whose cumulative philanthropic contributions of $30,000 or more have made a lasting investment in our school. Their generosity, often extending across many years, has helped sustain the people, programs, and experiences that define Heronfield while creating opportunities for generations of students.

Lifetime Recognition

Recognition in the Founders Circle is based on cumulative lifetime gifts of cash and securities totaling $30,000 or more, including contributions to the Heronfield Fund, capital campaigns, and other philanthropic initiatives.
