Important Events and Dates

Beginning as soon as the student enters the sixth grade we provide the expertise and individual attention needed to carefully guide students and parents alike through the placement process. We meet in groups and individually on an ongoing basis. The professionalism of our placement office is grounded in trusting relationships that span three years! Our HASSA Team works closely with students, families, and secondary schools to ensure that the match is right. The success of the process depends on the students, their family and participation in key events throughout the process. Here are some worth noting and planning for:

• Fall dates available for travel/interviews: Mondays, October 13th and 20th, and Fridays, November 10th and 25th.
• Application Deadlines – Parochial Schools, December 15th; Independent Schools, January 15th or February 1st.
• Admissions Decisions, March 10; Commitment, April 10, generally (parochial dates earlier)
• Standardized Test Dates: October 11, November 15, December 13, January 3, 2026, and January 31
• Lunch & Learn Series – including area public high school counselor
• Secondary Schools Fair on our campus, Thursday, October 7
• Practice Interviews
• Alumni Panel
