πŸ‡¬πŸ‡· OPA! It’s Greek Day at Heronfield! πŸ‡¬ πŸ‡¬πŸ‡· OPA! It’s Greek Day at Heronfield! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡· No field trip? No problem! Thanks to the incredibly creative planning of Mrs. Proctor, our students enjoyed a full-on Ancient Greece Staycation β€” and it was unforgettable. πŸ’™ From weaving and pottery-making to writing on papyrus and tabellae, the day was packed with hands-on learning. Students crafted catapults (including a giant one made by Mrs. Proctor herself!) and kicked off our very own Olympic Games in the afternoon. With Greek snacks to enjoy, stories from the bard, and opening and closing ceremonies to tie it all together, Greek Day brought ancient history to life in the most joyful, immersive way.
