The Heronfield Cross-Country Team had a successful season! The team is comprised of approximately 30 runners, both boys and girls, in grades 6-8. Practices are held after school several days a week, and students train on courses that are located on Heronfield’s 12-acre campus. Our athletes compete in the Seacoast NH Cross-Country League with 19 other teams. There were many highlights throughout the season as each runner improved their personal times, cheered on their teammates, and learned the importance of discipline and setting goals.

Our teams both placed first in two of their meets, and many individuals earned medals throughout the season. These highlights include 7th-grader Zac finishing in 8th place in the Seacoast League Championship Meet held at the Sagamore Golf Course, and  7th-grader Lea and 6th-grader Avery finishing in 2nd and 9th places respectively in the New Hampshire State Meet at Coe-Brown School in Northwood, New Hampshire. Congratulations to every member of our team. Your hard work and dedication are an inspiration to us!
