Heronfield Academy celebrated its new Bridget Marley Jenkins Field at a special dedication ceremony on Thursday, October 20th.  The field was created in memory of former parent Bridget Jenkins who was a member of the Parents’ Association, coordinator of the school’s annual Benefit Auction, and mother to two Heronfield graduates. The Heronfield community raised the funds for the new field.
Students, faculty, parents, alumni, grandparents, Trustees, and friends of the school all contributed to the fund. The ceremony on October 20th included Bridget’s family and friends.  The Jazz Choir and Jazz Combo performed “You Raise Me Up” which was followed by remarks by friends, students, Martha Shepardson Killam, Head of School, and Reverend Deb Knowlton who grew up on the land where the school is located.
Heronfield Academy is an independent school for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders located in Hampton Falls.
